ABI Transitional - residential service
CLIFTON COURT, Rotherham, South Yorkshire

Clifton Court is a seven-person transitional and residential service for individuals with an acquired brain injury (ABI). Renowned for its creative and caring team, individuals have their own high quality individual apartments with accessible kitchens and en suites. Clifton Court can support a spectrum of physical and cognitive needs. The service is designed to support you to develop your rehabilitation and goals in an active, supportive, friendly and comfortable community setting.

The service has an inter-disciplinary team including clinical neuro-psychology and neuro-psychiatry overview, neuro-occupational therapy, neuro-physiotherapy and neuro-speech and language therapy as required. The service is also rated the highest domains in all areas on the 'Headway Approved Provider' Scheme.

ABI Supported Living Services
Community and home based support, Derbyshire and South Yorkshire

Our community Support team provide innovative support in people's own homes or for vocational/ leisure support. We have an excellent team of highly trained ABI Support Workers to provide community support for individuals with an acquired brain injury (ABI). We develop holistic, interactive, empathetic and responsive options, with you at the centre of your rehabilitation and support.

At Ariya, we know that having the right team, maximises your ability to develop skills and strategies to improve your quality of life, engagement and confidence post-injury. Our team are experienced in working alongside therapists and other professionals to enable you to achieve your goals and aspirations.

We understand that an acquired brain injury has a massive impact on a person's lifestyle and self-confidence, but with our skilled and experienced staff team you can be supported to get the best from your life, through effective community-based rehabilitation.

ABI Transitional - residential service
ARIYA HOUSE, Barnsley, South Yorkshire

Ariya House is a transitional rehabilitation service, it has a core house compromised of nine transitional apartments with the addition of two separate transitional pre-independence bungalows and two long term apartments on site. Our ethos is to provide a high quality, comfortable environment in order for people to thrive as the develop strategies after a life changing injury.

The service is designed to support you collaboratively to continue your rehabilitation and goals in an active, friendly and 'non-clinical' setting. The service has an interdisciplinary team including clinical neuro-psychology and neuro-psychiatry overview, neuro-occupational therapy, neuro-physiotherapy and neuro-speech and language therapy as required.

ABI Transitional - residential service
ELIZABETH HOUSE, Holmewood

Elizabeth House is a community-based transitional/ residential ABI service in Holmewood, near Chesterfield. The main house is comprised of eight individual apartments with the addition on site of two separate bungalows and two separate more independent flats. Elizabeth House offers people the opportunity to re-learn skills and confidence in a supported friendly therapeutic environment. Beyond the individual apartments there is also a shared therapy room a physiotherapy room, a kitchen-diner, lounge, assisted bathroom and accessible gardens.

The service is suitable for wheelchair users, and has 'rise and fall kitchens', spacious wet-room style en-suites and facilities for ceiling track hoist where required. It is a high-quality environment, in both environment and atmosphere, to allow a person's rehabilitation and recovery to be as comfortable as possible.

Elizabeth House has a team of neurological Occupational Therapists, proactive Neuro-Psychology input, Neuro-Speech and Language Therapy and Neuro-Physiotherapy. The fully interdisciplinary nature of our team ensure therapy programmes are integrated and practised daily within functional daily living.

Centred support model, where we create the environment for the individual to flourish and gain control of their lives after brain injury. Each individual works with us to develop their unique therapeutic support plan, whilst being in a positive 24hr supported environment.

'In Reach' Services

We have some opportunities for non-residents to attend some sessions and support at Ariya House or Elizabeth House on an agreed basis. Some educational and peer support sessions are open to non-residents who would benefit from some peer interaction or therapeutic work outside of their home environment.
